Alright, what I’ve done is shown you how to easily create a new song from scratch. I happened to choose a rock genre, but you could choose just about any genre or style you want. Rock, country, pop, jazz, blues, world, reggae, bluegrass, and many many more, including most sub-genres. Your only limitation is your own imagination.

This process can be applied by anyone with an ear for music. And most of us have that don’t we? When we choose to listen to or buy music, we use our ears to guide us. No high-level music skills are necessary. You don’t need to know all about music theory or even how to play an instrument. All you need to be able to do is use your ears to hear what you like and want.

This also is a very useful method for musicians. If you are running out of ideas, or want new instrument parts to add to your songs, without paying musicians to do the work for you, or trying to persuade someone else to play parts for you, and wait for them to get the job done, the way you want it, etc.

A songwriter and/or singer could also use these techniques to make the music for the songs, and add your own singing, or have a friend sing it for you, and record a demo of your songs and/or your singing.

The possibilities are unlimited, so many ways to use this to create new music.

You can even do ghost writing. Import midi files of your favorite songs and it will re-create the chords for you, for example. Now you can use those chords, maybe make some personal changes, create your own melody, and badaboom, you have a new song based on your own favorite song.

Also, you can use the wizard to import any song from a CD or mp3 and it will re-create the chords in that song for you. Now, that is fantastic! You can now work with the chords and re-design your own new song.

Many songs have similar chords, and many of the best songwriters have used ghost writing to write a new song.

Part 2: The software I used.
——————————————————————
The program I used in this demo is called Band-In-A-Box. It isn’t free, but it is priced low enough to be affordable, even for hobbyists. And it’s certainly cheaper than buying a decent instrument and paying for music lessons, not to mention the time involved to learn music and your instrument. And at certain times of the year, like around Christmas, they run big discount deals, for buying and/or upgrading, especially when new add-ons come out. Huge limited-time discounts to upgrade in the form of low-priced packages.

Plus they have a very generous money-back guarantee. If you don’t like it, you get your money back!

BIAB lets you create virtually anything you want with respect to song creation. It can be also be used just for accompaniment songs, where if you play an instrument, you can play along with arrangements, even learn how to play better. Yes, you can even see the music notation for the individual tracks. Too many features for me to get into here.

There is a 30-day demo available for download. It has a couple of limitations though; with the demo you can’t save anything, just use it and create and play stuff. LOL But you could record your music on an audio recorder while playing it in BIAB. So at least you have a copy of your work in the demo stage. And I will show you how you can use that later.

It’s a patented program also. Which keeps it’s methods unique to other music programs. And it has very unique methods to create songs, arrangements, melodies, soloists, and many other song features in it’s own way, different from all other programs.

In a moment I will give you some links to check it out for yourself.

The mixer program I used is called RealBand. It is a recent addition to the arsenal of music tools, added a few months ago, by PG Music, the creators of this BIAB program.

The RB program is well-designed with feature to make it easy to re-arrange, generate, add, and edit tracks, add effects, and much more. You can import BIAB songs and continue to work with them from there. A mixer program with many of th e BIAB tools added into it. You could just use this software alone to do most of your song creation, if you didn’t want to get the BIAB also.

I used to use BIAB and then imported the saved midi and audio tracks to Sonar Studio Edtion to do my editing and mixing. Now with RealBand I have no more need for other mixer/audio programs other than BIAB and RB to go from start to finished recording.

What I will do next is offer you some courses to teach and guide you in the process of creating your music.

Like any good program BIAB and RealBand have so many features that beginners are sometimes puzzled in some areas, knowing how to go about doing this or that. No matter how many help files and such, the more intense a program is the harder it can be for beginners to get up and running full speed without a lot of small temporary road blocks in the learning process that cause slow-downs in production.

What I will be doing is offering you a free course to guide you and get you up and running much faster. If you are a beginner, this will help you get from start to finish in the fastest possible way. Now let me stress one thing: You don’t have to buy anything. You can just download the demo and try it to see if that is what you want first.

If you decide to purchase the BIAB or RB, or both, and get some serious music work done. I will have several plans for you. I will offer you a free course to guide you from beginning to end, so you will quickly become a master at song creation. I will help you along the way with answers to problems you may encounter. You could do it just for fun or learning something new, creating your own music. Maybe you could even do some work for others and make a few bucks along the way? Many possibilities exist. One example: Do some music work for your church. Or for your club. Or for your hobbies? Or for a local business. Or just write songs for your girlfriend or boyfriend, or family, or friends. Make your own CD’s of your songs distribute them, or sell them. Many possibilites exist. Who knows, you might create the next hit song?

I will also have available an intermediate to advanced program, for those who are up and running, have the basics down, and just want that extra oomph to go into maximum overdrive and get some powerful work done. These levels are especially useful for musicians who want to add to their music creations. By adding more pro quality instruments to their mixes they already have.

However, if you take one of my courses for BIAB owners, you will be able to get some real tracks in your songs by a special means I will provide for you within the course. Because I will work with you to get those tracks in your song.

You won’t find a better deal than that to create your own song.

Next go to Part 4 and choose the option you want to start with:
free demo, or buy one of the softwares you want to use

Part 4: Get the software tools

The software links:
To download the free 30-day demo go here:
BIAB demo download link

Remember this is a limited demo: you can’t save stuff, only work with it. And the melodist and soloist features are disabled. That means you can’t generate chords or melodies with it, but you can get a very good feel for the software and practice using it to see if you like it. Then purchase it and sign up for my course.

To purchase the Band-In-A-Box software go here:
BIAB purchase choices link

The recommended starter program is the First Time – Pro Band-in-a-Box and RealBand. You can just get the BIAB without the RealBand, and save a few bucks, but the RealBand gives you much more flexability in refining your songs and mixing everything for final cuts. Unless you choose to use a mixer software you already have. However, I used Sonar in the past, and with the RealBand I now have, it is much better and easier to use than importing stuff in Sonar and going back and forth to BIAB to add stuff.

Note: the Real Tracks, which give you the professional instruments, are sold in separate packages, or groups. You can however get most or all of them by purchasing one of the Mega, Super, or Ultra Paks. You can also upgrade later to get one of the PAKs. PG Music is very generous with upgrade prices, etc.
They also have an excellent money-back guarantee, compared with many other companies. They are very friendly and supporting, and this can be verified by many posts in their forums, by satisfied members, including me.
